Why does the song make you cry?
Because God it reminds me that God will always love me.  Despite how I act or forget about him sometimes, He is always faithful to continue to love me.  If it were not for God's grace and mercy, I would be lost or dead.  I thank God that He has unconditional love for me.  Mankind will always remember the bad things that you do or did, but God doesn't.

Thank God...  "When I was down, He picked me up.  I was on the verge of giving up.  Grace and mercy He had on me."

God protects me even when I am not thinking about what is going on.  He kept me from dangers seen and unseen.
